Description
Retrontario plumbs the depths of Toronto-area basements to find Canadian cultural ephemera recorded on VHS, Betamax, and cassette tapes of yesteryear. AF first teamed up with Retrontario in 2011 to design a website that operated principally as a video-sharing platform. The site was completely overhauled in 2022, pushing Retrontario’s engagement across several popular social media channels to maximize the client’s share of partner ad revenue. The new design is mobile-friendly and features user-controlled light and dark colour options.
More recently, we designed a microsite to promote sales of ImagiNation, a book by Retrontario about Toronto kids’ television shows from decades past.
